Seppeltsfield welcomes our new partner and Managing Director Warren Randall

It's been a busy year at Seppeltsfield, so apologies for not keeping this website up to date!  Warren Randall has joined Seppeltsfield as partner and Managing Director.
Warren has had an illustrious and particularly sparkling wine career, which started at Seppeltsfield (making great bubblies) and has now come full circle. Expect the unexpected and lots of activity. The visionary Gravity flow winery is the current major project. We started its revival last year, and now it will be back at virtually full production, making Barossa's finest wines from 2010.

·         Assistant Winemaker at Wynn’s under Pam Dunsford

·         Winemaker of the Seaview Champagne Cellars at Magill under Norm Walker

·         Champagne winemaker at Lindeman’s reporting to Albert Chan

·         Champagne winemaker at B. Seppelt and Sons Great Western (8 years) reporting to Ian McKenzie, winning 28 of 32 sparkling wine trophies contested in the five year period  1985-1989 inclusive

·         Chief Winemaker Andrew Garrett Wines in McLaren Vale (5 years), growing from 22,000 cases p.a to 150,000 cases p.a.

·         July 1993, with partners acquired Tinlin’s in McLaren Vale. In 16 years that business has grown to being the largest vineyard owner in McLaren Vale with over 1,000 acres, and 2 6,000 tonne wineries. Tinlin’s grows, purchases and makes approx 20% of McLaren Vale’s total wine crop each year. It is renowned as a producer of icon, super premium and premium McLaren Vale red wine for a number of Australia’s luxury and premium wine brands.
