We weren't known before, but I think we will be now!
I had my Benno Seppelt travelling sample leather case filled with samples of 100 year old, Paramount collection etc- quite a hit actually. Look out for articles over the coming months. Negociants UK, our distributors had a great stand and lots of people stopped by as well. Our packaging stood out as most European fortifieds are traditionally packaged.
I was particularly honoured to meet legends like Paul Symington (more on this later), Steven Spurrier (movie "Bottle Shock") and his Decanter colleagues, Matthew Jukes and his colleague Q (Quentin Johnson), Amelia Pinsent (Country Life etc), Charles Metcalfe (chairman IWC), my good friend and indefatigble wine writer, educator and judge Angela Reddin, Sarah Ahmed (aka the Wine Detective) and more....
Almost universal was the surprise at the Seppeltsfield range and quality across the range. Freshness, good acidity, concentration, depth, individuality were words which kept coming up during the week. James Godfrey take a bow!
