Seppeltsfield offers general tastings in cellar door, where you can try a selection of our limited release table wines and some of our most popular fortified offerings, free of charge.

premium 'wine flights' are available, where you can indulge in a tasting of some of the rarest and oldest gems from the Seppeltsfield collection.

Larger groups (10 or more) can be catered for in cellar door, however are required to be booked in prior and a tasting fee will apply. Daily Heritage Tour

Join one of our wine educators on our Daily Heritage
Tour, for a behind the scenes look through the estate's treasure trove of historical buildings and spectacular surroundings. Learn of the Seppelt family history and
their profound influence on the Australian wine industry.

Seppeltsfield Segway Tour - operated by Segway Sensation SA

On weekends and public holidays, experience the 
Seppeltsfield estate like never before on board a 

Segway - a two-wheeld personal transportation vehicle 
operated by the transfer of yourbody weight. The
battery-powered, chariot-like Segways are incredibly
fun and safe to operate, with training offered on site before departure.

The Seppeltsfield Centennial Cellar is the remarkable vision of Oscar Benno Pedro Seppelt who, in 1878, began the legacy of maturing single vintage Tawny (Port) for 100 years before release.

The cellar, which now holds every barrel from 1878 to current year, is one of the world's rarest and most historically significant wine lineages. Taste Your Birth Year

Our Taste Your Birth Year tour offers the rare opportunity
for visitors to try their own birth year vintage Tawny,
directly from the barrel. Join one of our wine educators
in the renowned Centennial Cellar and sip on a wine as
old (or young...) as you are.

Centenary Tour

Awarded the Barossa Trustmark, the Centenary Tour is
a once in a lifetime experience. Visit the Seppelt family homestead, followed by a private tasting of super
premium fortified wines. The tour culminates with a 
tasting of your birth year Tawny, direct from barrel, 
as well as the legendary 100 year old Para Vintage

Moments In History

The sheer span of the Centennial Cellar is often  
difficult to fathom. Our Moments In History tour provides a diverse historical cross-section, where perspective will be gained. Taste Tawnies from the year of Elvis Presley's passing (1977), the Moon Landing (1969), D-Day (1944), The Wall Street Stock Market Crash (1929) and the sinking of the Titanic (1912).

Years Of World War I

The recent centenary observance of the beginning
 of World War I (1914) and the ANZAC landing at 
Gallipoli (1915) will remain significant milestones in 
Australian and world history. Take the evocative
tasting journey through each of the years of
World War I - 1914, 1915, 1916, 1917 and 1918.
