Married in Seppeltsfields Elm Walk on 20th of October, 2018
Emily & Patrick are the modern day love story.
Matched on Tinder in 2014, the head over heels couple messaged the night away. Three years later, on the anniversary of their ‘right swipe’, Patrick cooked Emily breakfast as she slept in. Dining outside in the February morning sun, Patrick asked Emily to close her eyes; finding him down on one knee when she reopened them.
After that big decision, they had to make an equally big decision about where to have their first special day together as husband and wife. After an estate tour at Seppeltsfield, Emily and Patrick knew they had found the one.
As chance would have it, the Vintage Cellar was set up for an upcoming wedding, giving Emily & Patrick a chance to see the potential of the venue for their reception. Taken with the historic estate and rustic charm of the reception venue; they placed a booking the same day.
The couple were thrilled to have a sunny October day to celebrate their union! Emily & Patrick elected for the elegant and secluded natural backdrop of Seppeltsfield’s Elm Walk for their ceremony; the tall trees providing a beautiful natural aisle for the wedding party.
Emily looked stunning in her gorgeously embroidered ‘Grace Loves Lace’ lace wedding gown and Patrick couldn’t have the smile wiped from his face, as the celebrant took the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. through their personalised wedding vows.
The reception was held in the charming 1920’s Vintage Cellar, with Patrick’s mum’s floral arrangements bringing splashes of vibrant colour to the historic barrel room venue.
Guests enjoyed the evening’s celebrations, before watching the newly wedded Mr. and Mrs. Sutherland depart for their multi-country honeymoon.
