Seppeltsfield Riesling hails from the 'Garden of Eden' vineyard in the Barossa's beautiful high country - the Eden Valley. The soils throughout the Eden Valley high country are strewn with rocky outcrops and gravels, giving rise to classic mineral structure and perfume. Elevations over 500m above sea level result in an extended ripening season and promote effortless natural balance and finesse. Vines were shoot thinned, allowing for low yielding Riesling bunches which were handpicked to yield pristine juice.
Only the finest free run juice was used to craft the Seppeltsfield Eden Valley Riesling. Fermentation took place at 14°C in stainless steel to preserve pristine fruit and perfume. Following fermentation, the wine was promptly finished and bottled to maintain freshness and vibrancy.
